Today at the Ferry Building I saw a bum using a bent table knife to crack the antitheft cap off a stolen jug of Jim Beam. Delightful.
Nextmuni.com station signs are lacking outbound trolley times at the moment.
I would prefer my tax dollars not go towards Garth Brooks singing 'American Pie' on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

If I make my son watch Sabado Gigant_ every Saturday night will he automatically learn Spanish?
I recommend the book 'Flying Circus of Physics' as a great example of the progress and mysteries of science.

Kahn and #6 both died today.
Light just came back on so we are continuing on this train. Misery camaraderie breaking up.
Now my train is stopped dead near Burlingame, no lights, no power, and engine just shut down.
Just lost AC and lights on our Caltrain car. Strangely quiet & peaceful as we roll through the dusk towards San Francisco.
I am optimistic about Yahoo after hearing our new CEO's speech this morning. She seems very sensible.
Just about ran Jerry Yang over coming round the corner at work. He was very cordial.
Super speed walked to the train & I still made it on with a minute to spare. Course now I am sweating on the train.

San Francisco people suck at getting out of the way whe you are trying to get off the train.
Muni trolley closed doors, started moving, then saw me, stopped, and let me on. Geggy Tah to you, Mr. Muni driver.

Really spectacular huge yellow full moon rising over Oakland tonight.
The Yahoo founders Christmas gift was $50 you could donate to your favorite charity. I picked 826 Valencia.
Trying to whip up enthusiasm to start my new article on living with a toddler in the city.
I switched to sourdough bread because I realized it had no corn syrup in it. At first I didn't like the taste but now it is growing on me.

My Mac has locked up twice on the Cisco VPN client since I've upgraded to Mac OS 10.5.6. BSOD except it's fancier looking.

I cannot believe how much my son enjoys pushing around his pink and purple doll stroller.
I notice that sitting on a barstool and letting my legs dangle really stretches my sore back in the mornings Next stop: tennis ball walker.
